October 18 (SeeNews) - New passenger car registrations in Romania increased by an annual 7.9%, to 95,276 units in the first nine months of 2022, provisional data from the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) indicated on Tuesday.
Romanian car manufacturer Dacia increased 14.3%, to a total of 321,461 units in January-September, in the EU, ACEA revealed in a report.

Dacia’s market share rose by one percentage point on the year, to 4.7% over the first nine months of 2022.
New passenger car registrations within the EU, excluding Malta, decreased by an annual 9.9% in January-September, to a total of 6.784 million units.
New passenger car registrations in Romania fell 4.1% on the year, to 121,208 in 2021.
