BUCHAREST (Romania), January 19 (SeeNews) – New passenger car registrations in Romania decreased 21.8% to 126,351 in 2020, provisional data from the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, ACEA, indicated on Tuesday.
In December alone, new passenger car registrations in Romania rose 16% on the year to 15,974 units, ACEA said in a statement.

Romanian car maker Dacia's sales in the EU fell by 29.7% year-on-year to 380,280 units in 2020. Dacia's market share decreased to 3.8% in 2020 compared to 4.2% in 2019.
New passenger car registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, decreased by an annual 23.7% in 2020 reaching 9.94 million units.
New passenger car registrations in Romania rose 23.4% year-on-year to 161,562 in 2019.
