ZAGREB (Croatia), April 17 (SeeNews) – New passenger car registrations in Croatia fell 12.3% year-on-year to 12,171 in the first quarter of 2019, provisional data from the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, ACEA, showed on Wednesday.

In March alone, new passenger car registrations in Croatia dropped by 19.8% to 5,047, ACEA said in a statement.

New passenger car registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, decreased 3.3% to 4,032,881 from January to March.

In 2018, new passenger car registrations in Croatia increased 18.7% to 59,856.
