SOFIA (Bulgaria), January 17 (SeeNews) – New passenger car registrations in Bulgaria increased by 12.2% in 2016, reaching 26,370, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association, ACEA, said on Tuesday.
In December alone, new car sales in Bulgaria added 13.2% year-on-year to 3,555 units, ACEA said in a press release, citing provisional figures.

Compared with 2015, new passenger car registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, rose 6.8% to 14.6 million last year.
In December, the number of passenger car registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, increased 3% year-on-year, reaching 1.14 million.
