October 28 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia-based Tehnokomerc [MSE:TEHN], a retailer of car spare parts, tires, batteries, construction machines and hydraulic hoses, said that its net profit for the January-September period reached 76.2 million denars ($1.4 million/1.2 million euro), significantly higher compared with the net profit of 2.8 million denars made a year earlier.
The company saw its operating revenue rise 69% year-on-year to 581.4 million denars in the period under review, although revenue from sales abroad dropped to 359,000 denars from 6.7 million denars in the first nine months of 2020, Tehnokomerc said in an interim financial statement on Wednesday.
Revenues from domestic sales grew 67% on the year to 560.6 million denars in the nine months through September.
Total operating expenses added an annual 45% and reached 490 million denars in the review period.
