January 5 (SeeNews) - The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) said on Wednesday it gave the nod to state-owned Water Economy of North Macedonia to raise 93 million denars ($1.7 million/1.5 million euro) through a private placement of a new share issue.
The water utility plans to issue 93,000 new ordinary shares, to be placed with its owner, the government of North Macedonia, the SEC said in a statement.
Water Economy of North Macedonia has a registered equity capital of 36.15 million denars divided into 36,150 shares with a par value of 1,000 denars each, its latest financial statement showed.
