January 30 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's drug maker Replek [MSE:REPL] said on Tuesday it is in talks with local medicine distributor Demaks Nova Int. Dooel Skopje and Serbia's Demaks Nova Doo RS to acquire the exclusive distribution rights for the products of vitamin and supplements maker HealthAid Limited UK for the former Yugoslavia countries.
Replek seeks to buy the exclusive rights to distribute HealthAid's products in North Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Croatia, Slovenia and Montenegro, it said in a press release.
Demaks Nova Int. Dooel Skopje and Demaks Nova Doo RS have committed to exclusivity and not negotiating with other parties for similar rights during the specified period outlined in the Letter of Intent, Replek added.
Replek's shares last traded at an average price of 98,800 denars ($1,737/1,605 euro) on the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) on January 23, according to the latest available bourse data.
