December 7 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's Central Securities Depository said on Wednesday that the local unit of Norwegian investment company Normak Investment Group has increased its capital by 1.3 million euro ($1.4 million) through a private placement.
Tetovo-based Normak Investment Group issued 26,200 ordinary shares at a price of 50 euro apiece, the securities depository said in a notice.
Following the new share issue, the company's capital totals 4.3 million euro, divided into 85,694 ordinary shares of 50 euro in par value each.
North Macedonia's Securities and Exchange Commission said earlier that the company's sole owner, an Oslo-based company by the same name, will purchase the newly issued shares.
In May 2021, US-based car parts maker Lear Corporation and Normak Investment Group broke ground for a 15 million euro manufacturing facility in Tetovo, in the northwest of North Macedonia.
Lear opened its first plant in North Macedonia in 2016.
