May 14 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's hotel and catering services company Makedonijaturist [MSE:MTUR] said it turned to a net loss of 13.9 million denars ($244,063/226,190 euro) in the first quarter of 2020, from a net profit of 1.5 million denars in the same period of last year.
The company's operating revenues plunged 32% year-on-year to 32.96 million denars in the January-March period, Makedonijaturist said in an interim financial statement filed with the Skopje bourse on Wednesday.
Its operating loss increased to 21.1 million denars in the review period from 6.9 million denars in the first three months of 2019.
Operating expenses edged down 2.7% to 54.1 million denars.
Makedonijaturist shares traded on the Macedonian Stock Exchange at an average price of 4,630.50 denars on Wednesday.
