March 20 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia-based hotel and catering services company Makedonijaturist [MSE:MTUR] said on Monday it is proposing to its shareholders to distribute a gross dividend of 129.89 denars ($2.26/2.1 euro) per share for 2022, higher than a year earlier.
Makedonijaturist intends to pay out as dividend for last year a total of 52.9 million denars out of its undistributed profit for 2015, 2016 and 2021, it said in a bourse filing.
The proposal will be put to the vote at a general shareholders meeting of Makedonijaturist, to be held on April 19.
The company distributed a gross dividend of 120.122 denars per share paid out for 2021.
Makedonijaturist increased its net profit 40% year-on-year to 30.9 million denars in 2022.
Makedonijaturist's shares last traded at an average price of 4,629 denars on March 9 on the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE), the latest available bourse data showed.
