March 7 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia-based construction company Granit [MSE:GRNT] said that it booked a net profit of 132.9 million denars ($2.3 million/2.2 million euro) in 2022, down 26% on the year.
Total operating revenues picked up 1% on the year to 4.95 billion denars last year, while operating expenses were 2% higher at 4.88 billion denars, Granit said in an annual financial statement filed with the Skopje bourse last week.
Domestic sales lost 1% on the year, standing at 4.6 billion denars in 2022, but sales abroad soared to nearly 8 million denars from 3.3 million denars a year earlier.
Granit's shares last traded on the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) on March 2, at an average price of 1,221 denars.
Granit was established in 1952 and privatised in 1996. Its main activities include construction and rehabilitation of roads. The company owns several concrete and asphalt plants and stone quarries.
