SKOPJE (North Macedonia), September 6 (SeeNews) – North Macedonia's economy expanded by an estimated 3.1% year-on-year in the second quarter of 2019, after growing by 4.1% in the previous quarter, the country's statistical office said on Friday.
Gross domestic product totalled 166 billion denars ($3.0 billion/2.7 billion euro) at current prices in the April-June period, Makstat said in a statement.
Exports of goods and services rose by 10.2% year-on-year in nominal terms in the review period, while imports grew by 10.5%.
Household final consumption grew by an estimated 4.6% in the second quarter.
