November 1 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's power utility Elektrani na Severna Makedonija (ESM) is inviting proposals for consulting and supervision services for the implementation of two grid-connected photovoltaic plants of 30 MW capacity combined, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) said.
State-owned ESM plans to build the 10 MW solar power plant Oslomej 2 at an exhausted open pit coal mine at its REK Oslomej complex as well as the 20 MW solar power plant Bitola next to Bitola thermal power plant, a notice published on the EBRD's e-procurement portal ECEPP showed last week.
The deadline for submitting proposals is December 2.
The total cost of the assignment is projected at around 750,000 euro ($744,006).
The assignment is expected to start during the first quarter of 2023 and take approximately 33 months to complete.
