March 27 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's construction company Beton Skopje [MSE:BESK] said it has signed a 352.12 million denar ($6.17 million/5.61 million euro) deal with DPTY Borov Dol Dooel Radovis, owned by local mining company Bucim Doo, to build several facilities at the Borov Dol mine.
Under the deal, Beton will build a surface mine pool, water treatment plant, dam and accumulation, administrative building with a restaurant and an ambulance, gas filling station and the street infrastructure, the construction company said in a statement filed with the Skopje bourse on Thursday.
The deadline for the execution of the works is six months.
North Macedonia's Bucim launched a project in 2018 to open a new copper ore mine at Borov Dol. The new surface mine should allow for the prolongation of the digging of copper ore until 2030.
