ZAGREB (Croatia), September 19 (SeeNews) - Britain’s Mott MacDonald Group Ltd said it was appointed technical advisor to lenders Erste Group Bank AG, Unicredit Bank and Denmark's EKF for a 66 million euro ($89 million) wind project with a capacity of 42 megawatts in Croatia.
The engineering, management and development consultancy said in a statement on Wednesday that it would also deliver monitoring services during the construction phase of the wind scheme.
Mott MacDonald has already examined contracts, project design, construction and operational arrangements and the financial model of the project. It also backed the development of environmental and social management plans for the scheme.
The wind park, to be constructed in Croatia's Obrovac, will consist of 14 turbines of Denmark's Vestas Wind Systems A/S, expected to generate 105,000 megawatt hours of electricity each year, enough to supply more than 29,000 local households. The system is planned to be operational by next summer.
