February 5 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's retail sales grew by a real 3.3% in 2017, after increasing by 2.4% in the previous year, official preliminary figures showed on Monday.
Calculated in current prices, retail sales rose by 5.2% in 2017 after a 4.1% rise in 2016, according to data from the country's statistical office, Monstat.
In December alone, the country's retail sales rode by a real 5.2% year-on-year, after increasing by 3.6% a month earlier.
On a monthly comparison basis, retail trade turnover rose by a real 15.8% in December.
Calculated in current prices, retail sales rose by 6.8% on the year and by 15.5% on the month in December.
