PODGORICA (Montenegro), March 5 (SeeNews) – Montenegro’s total power consumption in January rose by 7% on the month to 285.5 GWh, the country's power grid operator Crnogorski elektrodistributivni sistem (CEDIS) said.
Region 2, comprising the municipalities of Podgorica, Danilovgrad and Cetinje, accounted for the largest share, 42%, of total power consumption in January, CEDIS said in a statement last week.
Household electricity consumption in Montenegro rose 14% year-on-year to 145.7 million kWh in January, according to figures posted on the website of the country's power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG).
On a monthly comparison basis, household electricity consumption in Montenegro rose by 10.5% in January, figures showed.
