PODGORICA (Montenegro), July 24 (SeeNews) – Montenegro’s Hipotekarna Banka [MNG:HIBP] posted a net profit of 3.7 million euro ($4.1 million) in the first half of 2019, up from 2.7 million euro in the like period of the previous year.
Hipotekarna Banka's net interest income came in at 8.9 million euro, up 34.8% on the year in the first half, while net fee and commission income fell 11.4% to 3.1 million euro, according to the lender's financial statement, posted on the website of the Montenegro Stock Exchange.
The bank's loan portfolio amounted to 269.9 million euro, while deposits totalled 400.3 million euro at the end of June.
