July 1 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's majority state-owned power transmission system operator Crnogorski Elektroprenosni Sistem [MNG:PREN] said its net profit fell to 3.6 million euro ($4.0 million) in 2019 from 4.2 million euro in the previous year.
The company's operating revenue went up 13.9% to 38.4 million euro, while operating costs grew 15.5% to 35.1 million euro, Crnogorski Elektroprenosni Sistem (CGES) said in a financial statement filed with the Montenegro Stock Exchange.
Montenegro is a renewable energy leader in Europe, with more than 40% of its domestic electricity consumption coming from clean energy sources.
