PODGORICA (Montenegro), October 2 (SeeNews) – Montenegro's power grid operator Crnogorski elektrodistributivni sistem (CEDIS) has said it plans to invest 2 million euro ($2.3 million) in the construction of a 35 kV/10kV power substation in Ulcinj, in the south of the country.
The project will include the installation of seven 10 kV and three 35 kV cable sets and will significantly improve the quality of power supply to 5,527 customers in the area of Ulcinj, CEDIS said in a statement on Sunday.
The construction will be carried out by Serbian civil engineering company Energomontaza and will be completed by December 31, CEDIS said.
The substation will have an installed capacity of 2x8 MVA. The 35 kV switchyard will consist of five cells. The 10 kV switchyard, in turn, will be equipped with 13 cells, including eight outgoing feeders, the company added.
