PODGORICA (Montenegro), September 26 (SeeNews) – Montenegro’s total power consumption in August rose by 10% on the month to 261.8 GWh, the country's power grid operator Crnogorski elektrodistributivni sistem (CEDIS) said.
Region 2, comprising the municipalities of Podgorica, Danilovgrad and Cetinje, accounted for the largest share, 34%, of total power consumption in August, CEDIS said in a statement on Tuesday.
Household electricity consumption in Montenegro increased 0.04% year-on-year to 123.7 million kWh in August, according to figures posted on the website of the country's power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG).
On a monthly comparison basis, household electricity consumption in Montenegro rose by 13.2% in August.
