March 15 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's consumer price index (CPI) grew by 0.4% year-on-year in February, after rising by 0.3% in January, the national statistical office said on Tuesday.
Consumer prices went up by 0.4% on the month in February after decreasing by 0.3% a month earlier, the statistical office said in a statement.
The biggest monthly rise in prices in February, of 1.5%, was recorded in the segment of clothing and footwear, followed by food and non-alcoholic beverages, of 0.8%.
On the other hand, the costs of hotels and restaurants fell by 0.7%, and of communications declined by 0.3% month-on-month in February.
In 2018, Montenegro's CPI grew by 2.6% after rising by 2.4% in 2017.
