March 14 (SeeNews) - The UN's International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) has approved a 10 million euro ($10.1 million) grant to help farmers in northern Montenegro adapt to the climate change, the country's agriculture ministry said.
The funds will be allocated as grant support to agricultural producers and investments in the development of rural infrastructure, specifically targeting Montenegro's northern mountainous municipalities, the ministry said in a statement earlier this week.
Montenegro has been an IFAD member since 2015.
