September 26 (SeeNews) - Montenegro hopes to find a company ready to invest at least 120 million euro ($141.2 million) in the country's two international airports, in Tivat and Podgorica, prime minister Dusko Markovic said.
The government expects that a concession contract for the operation of the airports would bring in an investment of at least 120 million euro and an annual budget revenue of about 10 million euro, Markovic said, according to a statement issued by the government last week.

Currently, Montenegro's airports generate a total profit of about 4.0 million euro per year, Markovic said at the Milocer Development Forum held on Friday, according to the statement.
"This is not a sale of state assets but a process in which the state receives private money for capital infrastructure that brings serious economic benefits," Markovic said.
Last month, Montenegro's transport minister Osman Nurkovic said the government plans to invite bids for a concession agreement with a term of 25 to 30 years for the operation of Tivat and Podgorica airports.
