- A zero growth of the Montenegrin economy is likely this year and in case the growth is negative there might be another budget revision, the head of the World Bank office in Montenegro, Jan-Peter Olters, said.

- The current value of flag carrier Montenegro Airlines is estimated at 25.6 million euro, Montenegrin Transport Minister Andrija Lompar said. The cabinet plans to sell 30% of the company through a new share issue and provide a call option for selling a further 21% at least to the same buyer.
- Montenegro should receive some 300 million euro by the end of September when the deal for the sale of 18.1% of its power utility EPCG to Italy’s A2A will be finalized, Deputy Prime Minister Vujica Lazovic said. A2A will modernize the company, raise its generation capacity by 90 megawatts, cut distribution losses and generate 300 million euro in profit in the next five years, he said.
- Montenegro and Italian electricity transmission system operator Terna will invest 600 million euro in building an underwater power cable across the Adriatic Sea by 2013 according to an energy cooperation blueprint, Montenegro's iEconomy Minister Branko Vujovic said.
