- The Montenegrin government has proposed to parliament to raise the yearly taxes for the use of motor vehicles and water-going vessels and introduce taxation of motor vehicles used by the central and local governments, aiming to increase budget revenue by 2.5-5.0 million euro. Some 170,000 cars were registered in Montenegro last year, including 1,150 state-owned.
- Montenegro’s Commercial Court said it has granted a request to launch a liquidation procedure against local press distributor Bega Pres for its inability to service its 3.0 million euro debt. The request was filed by the company’s owner, local businesswoman Tinka Djuranovic.
