- People charged with corporate crime this year in Montenegro have misappropriated more than 10 million euro of state funds, daily Dan reported.
- Montenegro's Budva municipality has decided to cancel its partnership with Russia’s Mirax Group in the construction of the Jedro hotel, on the Adriatic cape Zavala, and will open a tender to select a new partner after the New Year holidays, daily Vijesti reported.
- Montenegro will start on January 11 negotiations with Greek-Israeli consortium Aktor/HCH, the second-ranked bidder in a tender for the construction of a key motorway in the Balkan country, Montenegrin Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic said. At the same time the top bidder, Croatia’s Konstruktor tie-in, has assured the cabinet in Podgorica it would deliver the financial guarantees within the extended by two months deadline and remain in the job, Djukanovic added.
