PODGORICA (Montenegro), December 10 (SeeNews) – Montenegro's foreign debt totalled 1.36 billion euro ($1.87 billion) at the end of September, up by 5.3% from the end of 2012 and by 3.5% from the previous quarter, the finance ministry said.
Montenegro's end-September foreign debt was equal to 38.8% of the country’s estimated gross domestic product, the finance ministry said in its third-quarter macroeconomic report posted on its website.
Montenegro’s foreign debt rose to 1.295 billion euro at the end of 2012 from 1.06 billion euro in 2011.
