August 27 (SeeNews) - The Vracenovici crossing on the border between Montenegro and Bosnia - a project worth worth some 2.5 million euro ($3.0 million), will open for traffic in October, three months earlier than planned, Montenegro's interior minister, Mevludin Nuhodzic, said.
"The joint customs controls [...] will contribute to even better results when it comes to the fight against crime, the trafficking of drugs and weapons, and illegal migration," Nuhodzic said in a video file posted on the interior ministry's YouTube channel on Wednesday.
The border crossing facilities will spread on 9,000 square metres, Nuhodzic said, adding that the construction of another border crossing with Bosnia is planned some 130 kilometres north of Vracenovici.
