October 29 (SeeNews) - Moldova's third-biggest bank by assets, Victoriabank, said on Monday its nine-month net profit more than doubled on the year, reaching 131.5 million lei ($11.5 million/8.0 million euro).

Victoriabank, established in 1990, has 17 branches and 14 representative offices in Moldova. Its main shareholders are the Economic Bank for Reconstruction and Development with a 15.06% stake, and Romanian commercial bank Alpha Bank Romania which owns 12.5%.
