November 12 (SeeNews) - Moldovan private commercial bank Unibank turned to a 6.52 milion lei ($589,300/394,100 euro) loss in the first nine months of 2009 from a 23.7 million lei net profit a year earlier, the bank said.

Unibank, established in 1993, is 100%-owned by Vienna Capital Partners, which bought the Moldovan lender from Russian bank Petrokommertz in 2007 for 242 million lei.
