August 27 (SeeNews) - The volume of Moldova's combined railway, road, river and air freight traffic rose 15% to some 9.5 million tonnes in the first seven months of the year, the country's statistical office BNS said on Monday.
Calculated in freight tonne-kilometres (FTK), traffic increased 6.4% to some 2.58 million FTK in the January-July period, the National Bureau of Statistics (BNS) said in a monthly report.
In July alone, the volume of Moldova's freight edged rose 16.3% on the month and was 17.2% higher on the year, at 1.9 million tonnes.

The total volume of Moldova's railway, road, river, and air freight traffic grew by 23.8% year-on-year in 2017, reaching some 17.3 million tonnes.
