April 15 (SeeNews) - Moldova's trade deficit narrowed by 2.7% on the year to $356.1 million (315 million euro) in the first two months of the year, the country's statistics bureau said on Monday.
Moldova's exports rose 9.1%, while imports increased by 3.7% through February, the statistics office said in a statement.
In February alone, exports grew 11.9% on the year to 214.4 million euro, while imports rose 7.4% to 459.3 million euro.
Moldova's trade deficit widened by 27.1% on the year to $3.057 billion in 2018.
