January 17 (SeeNews) - Moldova's trade deficit widened by 21% on the year to $4.36 billion (4.03 billion euro) in the first eleven months of 2022, the country's statistics bureau said on Tuesday.
Moldova's exports were 41.3% higher on the year, while imports increased by 30% in the first eleven months of the year, the statistics office said in a statement.
In November alone, exports were 2.2% lower on the year to $355.8 million, while imports rose 22.5% to $859.1 million. November trade deficit rose by an annual 49.1% to $503.3 million.
