December 19 (SeeNews) - Moldovan low-cost air carrier FlyOne said on Wednesday it will launch a new route from the country's capital Chisinau to London starting July 19.
This will mark the beginning of FlyOne's operations at London Southend International Airport, the air carrier said in a press release.
Fly One will operate the flight two times a week on Tuesdays and Fridays.
This destination is the 12th in the company's portfolio and it will be operated by an Airbus A319 aircraft.
Currently, Fly One operates direct flights to 12 destinations, seven regular routes and five charter routes: London, Moscow, Parma, Verona, Dublin, Lisbon, Paris, Antalya, Heraklion, Izmir, Sharm El Sheikh, Bodrum.
FlyOne was founded in 2015 as a cabin crew and flight crew services operator. In May 2016, the company was transformed into a low-cost air carrier. It was founded by Romanian training organisation Fly Level, which operates aviation training centres in Chisinau and Romania's Bucharest.
