November 13 (SeeNews) - The Moldovan central bank (BNM) said on Tuesday it sold 52 million lei ($4.6 million/3.2 million euro) in three Treasury bill issues as yields on two of the issues fell and one remained unchanged.
Primary dealers placed bids for 73 million lei worth of government securities, the BNM, which sells the T-bills on behalf of the Finance Ministry, said in a statement.
Yields on the 91-day T-bills fell to 16.57% from 16.62% at the previous auction held last week. Dealers wanted to buy 33.5 million lei worth of T-bills versus 26 million lei on offer.
The 182-day T-bills yielded 17.25%, unchanged from the previous auction held on November 6. The BNM received bids for 19.4 million lei versus 12 million lei on offer.
The yield on the 364-day T-bills slightly fell to 16.93% from 16.94% as dealers placed bids for 20 million lei worth of T-bills against 14 million lei on offer.
