October 1 (SeeNews) - The average monthly salary in Moldova, one of the poorest European nations, rose 21% on the year in August to 2,131 lei ($191/134 euro), the country's statistics bureau said on Monday.
The average monthly salary in the public sector was 1,546 lei, while in the private sector it was 2,407 lei .
