September 2 (SeeNews) - Cookware maker Metalac [BEL:MTLC] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Monday, as stock indices ended mixed, bourse data showed.
A total of 1,000 Metalac shares changed hands in a turnover of 1.95 million dinars. Metalac closed flat at 1,950 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session 0.18% higher at 746.36 points.
Civil engineering group Energoprojekt [BEL:EBHL] led the blue-chip gainers' list, as its share price grew 2.04% to 700 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, fell 0.10% to 1,585.63.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 1.449 billion dinars ($13.5 million/12.3 million euro) on Monday, up from Friday's 2 million dinars, as 111 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the exchange generated a turnover of 319,004 dinars.
Treasury bonds contributed 1.442 billion dinars to the total turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Monday.
