June 15 (SeeNews) - An earthquake of 5.7 magnitude hit Turkey's Bingol province on Sunday afternoon, killing one person and injuring 18, local media reported.
Two police observation towers collapsed in the village of Kaynarpinar, injuring three village guards, Anadolu Agency reported on Sunday, citing a statement by the Bingol governor's office.
Some 10 houses in Elmali and Dinarbey villages of Yedisu district were also damaged.
The quake was followed by 46 aftershocks, two of which were stronger than 4.9 magnitude, the news agency quoted vice president Fuat Oktay as saying.
