July 21 (SeeNews) - Macedonia's real average net monthly wage increased by 2.5% year-on-year in May, after rising by 0.4% in the previous month, the national statistical office said on Friday.
In nominal terms, the average net wage in Macedonia rose by 1.3% in May, reaching 22,889 denars ($433.6/372.44 euro).
The strongest wage growth was registered in the sectors of mining and quarrying, scientific and technical activities, and manufacturing.
On a monthly comparison basis, net wages edged up 1% in May.
