December 11 (SeeNews) - Macedonian stock indices fell in a holiday-thinned trading this week, bourse data showed on Friday.
The Macedonian bourse was closed on Tuesday for the St. Kliment Ohridski public and market holiday.
The MBI-10 index, which tracks the 10 blue-chip companies on the Macedonian Stock Exchange JSC (MSE), closed at 2,793.86 points on Friday, down 7.5% from a week ago. The broader MBID index, which comprises the 11 most liquid stocks, fell 7.0% from last Friday to 3,027.90 points.
The MSE's total turnover fell to 44.6 million denars ($1.07 million/723,758 euro) in four trading sessions this week from 75.2 million denars in five sessions last week. Turnover on the bourse's official floor declined to 37.4 million denars from 65.9 million denars last week.
Turnover on the unofficial floor dropped to 7.2 million denars from 9.3 million denars last week.
Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje was the most traded stock this week, recording a turnover of 9.1 million denars.
