October 9 (SeeNews) - The indices of the Macedonian Stock Exchange JSC (MSE) posted strong gains this week in slightly lower turnover, bourse data showed on Friday.
The MBI-10 index, which tracks the 10 blue-chip companies on the MSE, closed at 3,499.43 points, up 12.5% from last Friday. The broader MBID index, which comprises the 11 most liquid public companies, added 10.4% from last Friday to 3,572.42.
The MSE's total turnover fell to 132.6 million denars ($3.2 million/2.2 million euro) from 146.1 million denars in last week trading.
Turnover on the bourse's official floor fell to 102.5 million denars from 126.5 million denars last week. Turnover on the unofficial floor increased to 30.1 million denars from 19.7 million denars a week earlier.
Builder Granit AD Skopje was the most traded company this week, recording a total turnover of 21.3 million denars.

The MSE bond index, OMB, edged up 0.2% to 105.46 this week.
