November 9 (SeeNews) - Macedonian metals producer RZ Institut AD said on Monday its preliminary pre-tax profit dropped by 69% on the year to 2.95 million denars ($71,399/47,664 euro) through September.

The company's stock was quoted flat at 694 denars by 1350 on MSE on Monday.
RZ Institut, once the research and development division of communist-era steel giant Zelezarnica, produces ferro alloys and aluminium alloys and processes ferrous metal scrap. It provides analyses, measurements, exploration and testing of ores and mining equipment.
The company is 70.65%-owned by British Virgin Islands-registered Repro One Ltd.
