SKOPJE (Macedonia), October 16 (SeeNews) – Macedonia's finance ministry raised 3.5 billion denars ($65.5 million/56.6 million euro) from the sale of four issues of government securities on Tuesday, in line with its target, the country's central bank said.
The finance ministry sold 800 million denars of one-year Treasury bills, 899.6 million denars of two-year Treasury notes, 600 million denars of 3-year Treasury notes and 1.2 billion denars of 30-year Treasury bonds, the central bank, NBRM, said in a statement.
The central bank sells government securities on behalf of the finance ministry through volume tenders, in which the price and coupon are fixed in advance and primary dealers only bid with amounts.
