August 31 (SeeNews) - Macedonia posted a current account gap of 22.6 million euro ($25.2 million) for June, compared to a surplus of 3.4 million euro in the same month of last year, data from the country's central bank, NBRM, showedon Wednesday.
The swing into deficit was driven mainly by a larger trade gap, which expanded by 15% year-on-year to 156.2 million euro, the data indicated.
NBRM revised the May current account data to a gap of 64.2 million euro from an initially reported shortfall of 71.5 million euro.
