December 27 (SeeNews) - Macedonia's average net salary rose in October by a real 3.1% month-on-month to 15,608 denars ($365.8/252.3 euro), the Macedonian Statistics Office said on Thursday.
In September the average net monthly salary in the country was nominally 3.4% higher than it was a month earlier, the statistics office said in a statement.

In October 11.6% of the people employed in the country received no payment, the statistics office said.
NOTE: The value of the consumer basket of food and beverages for a household of four cost 11,309 denars ($265/182 euro) based on retail prices in November, compared to 10,810 denars in October.
