UTRINSKI VESNIK
- Macedonia's President Gjorge Ivanov invited his Greek counterpart Karolos Papoulias to make his first official visit to Macedonia. Macedonia is involved in a 18-year-old name dispute with its southern neighbour, which objects to the use of the name Republic of Macedonia, saying it implies territorial claims to the northernmost Greek province of the same name.
VECER
- Macedonia’s ferroalloys plant Silmak said it has halted production for a second time this year due to low demand on foreign markers. Silmak previously halted its production activities in March.
- Macedonian hydropower plant Spilje, located near the western town of Deber, had produced some 10 billion kWh of electricity in its 40 years of existence, Spilje's director Ljupco Angelovski said.
DNEVNIK
- A five-star hotel worth $33 million will be built in the lakeside town of Ohrid, a joint investment by Ohrid-based construction firm Trudbenik and U.S.-based Macedonian businessman Spiro Trajceski.
