December 12 (SeeNews) - The number of tourists that visited Macedonia in the first ten months of 2014 rose by 5.2% to 666,762, the country's statistics office said on Friday.
Tourist overnights increased by an annual 2.0% to 2,049,889 in the January-October period, with foreigners accounting for 840,168 of the total, the statistics office said in a statement.
In October alone, most foreign tourists visiting Macedonia came from Turkey, followed by tourists from Greece, Serbia and Bulgaria.
