May 10 (SeeNews) - Fuel trader Lukoil Serbia, a unit of Russia's Lukoil, said its net profit rose by 73.8% year-on-year in 2021, reaching 1.8 billion dinars ($16.14 million/15.29 million euro).
Lukoil Serbia's total revenue increased by 31.6% on an annual comparison basis in the period under review, coming in at 38.6 billion dinars, it said in a filing to the Belgrade Stock Exchange last week.
The company's expenses also rose, by 29.2% to 36.6 billion dinars.
Sales revenue, all generated on the domestic market, rose from 29.01 billion dinars in 2020 to 37.3 billion in 2021.
Sales of diesel constituted 84.7% of the company's wholesale revenues, and 63.7% of its retail sales, at 8.5 billion dinars, and 17.3 billion dinars, respectively.
The unit's operating profit inched higher by 10.6% to 1.22 billion dinars.
The company operates 114 filling stations in Serbia.
