May 3 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) closed Wednesday's trading session lower, compared with the previous trading day, as Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] lead the blue-chip decliners, bourse data showed.
Telekom Slovenije's shares dropped 1.92% to 51.0 euro on Wednesday, LJSE data showed.
At the other end, petroleum and fuel retailer Petrol [LJE:PETG] was the only blue-chip gainer, with shares advancing 0.85% to 23.70 euro.
The blue-chip SBITOP index ended at 1,226.96 points, down 0.23%. The SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, also lost 0.23% and closed at 1,551.24 points.
Lender Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB) [LJE:NLBR] generated the highest single trading turnover, as its shares switched hands in transactions worth a total of 289,567 euro ($318,482). NLB's shares fell 0.84% to 71 euro on Wednesday.
Total daily regulated market turnover dropped to 747,511 euro on Wednesday from 2.2 million euro at the previous trading session on Friday.
